Reduction of CFC use in foam plastics
On 27 June 1990 the Commission of the European Communities has made a recommendation on the reduction of chlorofluorocarbons used by the Community's foam plastics industry. The recommendation is addressed to the manufacturers who should reduce the use by 35% by end 1991, and 65% by end 1993; to relevant industry federations, to manufacturers of raw materials who should pursue developments of environmentally accepted materials and technology and to the Member States who should assure that the aims of the recommendation are achieved.
