Collection and treatment of radioactive liquid effluent from JRC
The Joint Research Centre of the European Commission has published a restricted invitation to tender for the design, construction and establishment of a station for the collection and treatment, by precipitation and filtration, of radioactive liquid effluent from nuclear facilities on the JRC site at Ispra, Italy. The contract will be divided into two phases and will include: - Phase 1: Overall and specific design, safety assessments. This phase will be completed upon approval of the project by the competent Italian supervisory authorities; - Phase 2: Executive design, site preparation, supply of equipment, carrying out assembly and testing, putting the station into operation, expendable items and spare parts for the operation of the station for at least one year. Activities relating to the supply must be carried out in accordance with a quality guarantee programme in accordance with ISO 9000 or equivalent. An option exists for a maintenance contract of the station to which this contract relates, from the date of expiry of the contract guarantee period. Tenders must relate to the whole of the supplies and the option. The economic tender relating to the supplies must indicate two prices, one for phase 1 and one for phase 2. The JRC will send invitations to tender to those selected on the basis of expressions of interest submitted.
