The UK Food Standards Agency call for project proposals (research & surveys)

The latest issue of the 'Food Standards Agency Research Requirements Document (Issue 9, September 2002)' was published on Thursday 19 September 2002. Full details can be obtained from the Agency website at the following URL

http://www.food.gov.uk/science/research/comresearch/resreq(opens in new window) The Document gives details of requirements for new research and survey work from programme areas across the Agency's broad range of interests. The Agency is currently looking to commission research projects in the following areas: - Food additives,- Chemical contaminants from food contact materials and articles,- Naturally occurring contaminants in food,- Improved methods of analysis,- Safety of novel foods,- Meat safety and hygiene,- Monitoring of radioactivity in the food chain,- Food authenticity and labelling Bids are welcome from UK and overseas applicants. ,The document is available in electronic format only and may be read or downloaded in .pdf or Word format from the Agency website.
