Second FITEC fair to be held within the framework of Expoquimia
Focusing on this occasion on the chemical sector, FITEC will provide a meeting point where universities and research centres will offer their latest scientific and technological innovations and services to companies and investors interested in technology transfer in this industrial area. The fair will have four complementary areas of action: technical sessions on new technologies and technology transfer in the chemical sector; sessions for the presentation of innovative company projects by entrepreneurs seeking the participation of investors; an exhibition area where Catalan and other Spanish universities and research centres will showcase the technology on offer to companies; and the presentation of the second FITEC Award for investment in technology. The FITEC technical sessions will analyse various aspects of innovation and the relations between the company and research in this strategic industry. Green chemistry as the future of the sector, the possibilities of nanotechnology in the chemical field, R&D&I in the company and the latest advances in catalytic reactions will be some of the subjects discussed by international experts in their papers and at round tables. The exhibition area of the fair will allow companies to discover in a single space the offer existing for the contracting of technological and scientific services and for the development of new products in all the sectors of Expoquimia. FITEC will include, among others, areas such as the basic chemistry-raw materials industry; fine chemistry and pharmachemistry; new materials; biotechnology; analytical instrumentation-laboratory material; measuring and control instrumentation-pumps and valves; process technologies and machinery; logistics; maintenance and storage; environmental techniques; safety and auxiliary products and services.
