Securing European Funds for Innovation
Framework 6 (FP6), the European Commission''s new 17.5 billion Research and Development programme, launches on 21 November 2002 in Brussels. To highlight the benefits of participation and the opportunities for companies and trade associations to take part in FP6, IRC Scotland are organising a series of events across Scotland. Why Take Part in FP6?,· Develop networks with Europe''s key industry players,· Share the cost and risk of product, process or service development in emerging fields and markets,· Access new technologies, skills and resources to gain a competitive edge,· Secure your share of the European Commission''s 17.5 billion fund for innovation Each event will have a series of presentations in the morning. These will explain the different opportunities for large companies, smaller companies and trade associations to participate in FP6. In the afternoon you have the option to book a one-to-one clinic with one of the speakers to get personalised advice.
