TRAGAMOVIL project

LIFE TRAGAMOVIL is a project directed by ASIMELEC (Multisectorial Association of Spanish Companies of Electronics and Communication).

The objective of the project is to develop an integral system for the treatment of used mobile phones, including their collection and the development and establishment of an innovative technology to recycle and reuse such mobile phones. The idea is to avoid serious environmental problems, since, for example, only in Spain there are more than 10,000,000 electronic appliances out of order.
The project will also include a tour with a didactic bus all over Spain during the three years in which the project will be done. The aim of that tour is to raise awareness of children at schools.
The advertising poster says: "Do not throw me, Recycle me!"
The following companies have also participated in the project: Indumental Recycling, Hic & Now and the Basque research center Gaiker.
