EuroMicroSquare2003: Match-Making Happening with Poster Offering Cooperation 29th June 2003, Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana, Slovenia

EuroMicroDay2003 will bring together European scientists and entrepreneurs on microbiology to prepare innovative and successful project proposals.
The EuroMicroDay2003 is organised in three parts:,-Presentations of the research programmes by authorities from: FP6, COST, INTAS, NATO, EUREKA, ESF, EMBO, FEMS and some successful projects by its coordinators,,-EuroMicroSquare2003: Match-making happening with posters where innovative and interested ideas for project proposals on microbiology will be presented by potential coordinators who seek for partners. The discussions will start during poster session and could continue on Tuesday (1st July) in the afternoon,,-Workshops on how to avoid obstacles in writing successful project applications in the following programmes: FP6, COST, ESF, EUREKA, EMBO, INTAS, Marie Curie, and NATO.
With this event the organisers would like to present the researchers as much as possible of research programmes in European Research Area and how to apply for their calls. Poster session and discussions EuroMicroSquare2003 will be organised as the first and second step of the preparation of the project proposals: the presentation of the project ideas and establishing of the international consortia. The catalogue of the project proposal abstracts will be also prepared and it will be available in the web site before the event.
EuroMicroDay2003 is organised in the frame of the 1st FEMS congress of European Microbiologists, which will be held in Ljubljana from 29th June to 3rd July 2003. The association of Federation of European Microbiological Society FEMS organises the congress of European Microbiologist the first time. The main purpose of the congress is to prepare an overview of the research work from different scientific fields but with the connection on the microbiology. At the congress the document European declaration on microbiology will be discussed and it will be important piece of writing for future network of microbiologists.
The participation at the event is free of charge but the participants should fulfil the Registration form and send it to e-mail: [e-mail] before 18th June 2003.
