Launching of ECOINNOVATION-AM project web-site
The Accompanying Measure ECOINNOVATION-AM (IPS-1999-00023) was a project was funded under the former FP5 in the programme Innovation and SMEs. The Accompanying Measure began on April 1st 2000 and finished on March 31st 2003. ECOINNOVATION-AMs overall objective was to provide the Innovation Projects of FP5 with a set of non-technological environmental measures, aiming at a global improvement of the environmental behaviour of these projects and the partners (enterprises and persons) comprising these projects. This improvement affects Innovation Projects in three main aspects: anticipation, impact and acceptance. The assistance provided consists on:,- Advice on general and specific European environmental legislation that has or will have an impact on the project, identifying main trends and future requirements.,- Promotion of an environmental culture among the actors of innovation process by means of sensitising activities, delivery of material during these seminars and advice on how to raise environmental awareness. ,- Training on Environmental Management Techniques at every level in SMEs (managers and workers). Advice on specifically designed methodologies for workers as Cascade Training.,- Assistance to identify environmental innovation opportunities though an eco-audit methodology.,- Help on exchange of experiences and share of knowledge related with environmental experiences (clustering activities). Identification of best practices and dissemination., ,Actually, EcoInnovation-AM consortium has collected all these materials in a Web-site (http://www.aizabala.com/ecoinnov.htm(opens in new window)) that summarises the main results and lessons learned during the last years.,
