New Intranet solutions for conference information

FIZ Karlsruhe provides current information on sci-tech conferences worldwide and thoroughly compiled and customized information for corporate intranets.

Karlsruhe, April 2004 - FIZ Karlsruhe, renowned producer and provider of sci-tech databases and European service center of worlds premier online service for sci-tech information STN International, has enhanced and complemented its comprehensive conference information service for intranets. Users may now choose between three options: CONFnet - the fully searchable database with conference previews reaching to the year 2010; CIS - the customized easy-navigable html version; or raw data for free use in the corporate intranet. This convenient offer is complemented by CLOU, the free weekly newsletter for CIS users and buyers of raw data.
The new service CONFnet covers all subject areas of science and technology and offers easy access to the world of conferences via a database with user-friendly search functions. It is updated weekly and contains approximately 7,000 conference previews, reaching beyond the year 2010. Besides these ready-made offers, customers can also be supplied with raw data (in a categorized ASCII text format) for free use, e.g. in their own databases, as an e-mail alert service, etc.
