The American Evaluation Association: The Consequences of Evaluation - Call for presentations

The American Evaluation Association invites evaluators generally, and R&D evaluators specifically, from around the world to submit a proposal to present at its annual conference to be held on 1-4 November 2006 in Portland, Oregon. This year's conference theme will be "The Consequences of Evaluation".

The American Evaluation Association annual meeting brings together over 1700 evaluation practitioners, academics, and students and represents a unique opportunity to meet with professional colleagues in a supportive, invigorating, atmosphere. Proposals that examine any aspect of evaluation theory or practice are invited e.g.: Evaluation’s Contribution to Management of R, T&D – examination of various aspects of the contribution (both positive and negative) that evaluation can make to the management of research, technology, and development efforts. Outcomes of R, T&D – examination of the evaluation design and methods to assess the range of benefits which result from various types of R,T&D projects, programs, portfolios, and policies, plus measuring interim performance.
