V2G (Vehicle to Grid) Plugtests™
30 November 2015 - 4 December 2015
Ispra, Italy
The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) Centre for Testing and Interoperability (CTI) is organising the first V2G (Vehicle To Grid) Plugtests™. Open to both ETSI-members and non-members, it will be hosted by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission with the support of the FP7 COTEVOS project.
COTEVOS aims to develop optimal structures and capacities to test the conformance, interoperability and performance of the different systems to be included in the infrastructure for smart charging of Electric Vehicles.
This Plugtests™ event will focus on assessing the interoperability of systems, apparatus and protocols for any of the interfaces that can be used to integrate Electric Vehicles within the electricity grid. The testing campaign will be based on the interoperability test plan developed by COTEVOS partners. This event will give a unique opportunity to participating vendors to test end-to-end functionality within a partially real and complete environment.
