DIAPHORA midterm conference

The EU-funded DIAPHORA project will be organising its midterm conference in Barcelona, Spain, from 12 to 15 December 2017.

The conference is sponsored by the research and training network DIAPHORA, funded by the European Commission and will run from the afternoon of Tuesday 12 to the morning of Friday 15.

The programme covers areas including :
- Can Dispositional Essences Fulfill their Explanatory Role?
- A Defense of Ambivalence
- Counterfactuals and the Necessity of Mathematics
- A Priori Knowledge, Peer-agreement and Peer-disagreement

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Training Network DIAPHORA serves as a European research and training platform for collaborative research on the nature of philosophical problems, their resilience and the sources of persistent divergence of expert opinion about them, and their relation to conflicts in the practical sphere.
