Educational data mining, Eindhoven, the Netherlands
Recently, the increase in dissemination of interactive learning environments, learning management systems, intelligent tutoring systems, and educational hypermedia systems has allowed the collection of huge amounts of data. The increase in instrumented educational software, as well as state databases of student test scores, has also created large repositories of data reflecting how students learn.
The event will focus on computational approaches for using data to address important educational questions. The event will bring together researchers from computer science, education, psychology, psychometrics and statistics. For further information, please visit: http://educationaldatamining.org/EDM2011/(opens in new window)
