Fifth International Conference on Astrodynamics Tools and Techniques, Noordwijk, the Netherlands
Sometimes called orbital mechanics, astrodynamics is the application of ballistics and celestial mechanics to the practical problems concerning the motion of rockets and other spacecraft. The motion of these objects is usually calculated from Newton's laws of motion and Newton's law of universal gravitation. It is a core discipline within space mission design and control.
The event is being organised by the European Space Agency (ESA) with the collaboration of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft und Raumfahrt (DLR), the Centre National d'Études Spatiales (CNES), and the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana(ASI).For further information, please visit: http://www.congrexprojects.com/12a07/introduction
