The three Belgian Innovation Relay Centres, from Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia, along with partners from Austria, France and Italy, are organizing a European technology transfer event from 12 to 15 May 1998, in Brussels, Belgium. This will be held during EUROTECH'98, a major industrial fair.

The event will allow the presentation of around 90 technologies developed in Europe by European companies and laboratories. Technology holders will have the opportunity to meet potential users and intermediary organizations. The overall objective of the event is to foster the competitiveness of European industry through the exploitation of research results and technology transfer.

The following sectors will be covered:

- Industrial equipment;
- Packaging;
- Plastics;
- Subcontracting;
- Hydropneumatic;
- Electromechanics;
- Material handling.
