Quality Assurance in Vocational Training

A seminar on Quality Assurance in Vocational Training will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, on 20 April 1998. The seminar is organized by the Portuguese Ministry for Employment and Vocational Training. The purpose of the seminar is to present the results of the QUALTRAIN project, which is supported under the EU's action programme in the field of vocational training, LEONARDO DA VINCI.
The issue of quality assurance in vocational training has been the subject of debate in several EU Member States for a number of years. The Portuguese Directorate-General for Employment and Vocational Training has tried to follow and encourage this increasing tendency. The main themes of the seminar which aims to discuss the present situation in Europe, will be:
- Quality assurance in Europe;
- Quality assurance models: Present and future perspectives.
