Luxembourg e-Commerce certified,The reference frame is intended for companies, which own e-commerce sites (providers) using the Internet and are now trying to win the cybercustomers (the customers) trust.,It defines a series of requirements to observe, which are divided into three classes according to the activity sector to which they apply:,- general requirements which apply to all the e-commerce providers;,- requirements relating to B2B activities;,- requirements relating to B2C activities.
General requirements apply to:,- the identification of the service provider;,- the presentation of the products and services;,- the processing of complaints and litigations;,- the commercial communication.
Requirements relating to B2B activities apply to the use of electronic signature.
Requirements relating to B2C activities apply to:,- contract signing;,- contract execution;,- customer protection.
The reference frame aims at any site offering value added services (estimates, reservations...) or transactional sites (off-line or on-line payment) which use the Internet as a commercial tool.
