Clever Networking: The European networking event for top-performing entrepreneurs

We are proposing a new initiative in Brussels next 28 November afternoon aimed at trading ideas and experience in order to develop your business by:,- taking advantage of experiences and ideas from other European entrepreneurs ,- developing your network of contacts at national and international levels,

Why should you take part?
Enjoy the unique opportunity to meet a mix of three generations of European entrepreneurs we have called G1, G2 and G3. Their definition are:
G1: leaders of innovative businesses, carefully selected by business incubators and other organisations to ensure a high entrepreneurial standard. G1s account for 90% of participants.
G2 are leaders of rapidly growing companies according to GrowthPlus criteria (50 employees or more and a twofold increase in staff and turnover in the space of five years). The leaders must have been in charge for the last five years and must own at least 15% of the business or, if the company is listed, at least 5% of shares.,Growth Plus is the association of Europe's Top 500 Job Creating Entrepreneurs (http://www.growthplus.org(opens in new window)) frequently business angels. Thanks to a partnership between Clever Networking and GrowthPlus, a delegation of 150 GrowthPlus members will be attending to share their experience and find business opportunities. G2s account for 9% of participants.

G3: CEOs of companies listed on the primary stock market of a European stock exchange or leaders of a public-sector enterprise. G3s make up 1% of participants. They are selected by the Honorary Committee chaired by Mr Piet Steel, former ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium and Public Affairs Director with Solvay.
,The theme-based microdiscussions
Take part in a programme of specific microdiscussions on issues of concern to you:,- Themes are proposed by participants: you may propose your own issues ,- Themes list (first draft) at: http://www.clever-networking.com/themes.html(opens in new window). New themes in August with a subscription module ,- Formal discussions are limited to 20 minutes ­ but you are welcome to continue informally ,- The number of participants is deliberately restricted to 5-10 per topic

PricewaterhouseCoopers is delighted to be offering free one-to-one consultancy session to a limited number of Clever Networking participants.
Partners and senior consultants from the PricewaterhouseCoopers "Companies With Extraordinary Potential" Network from different European countries, will provide first-kit expertise to each of the selected entrepreneurs on a one to one basis to provide feedback on their project and company, as well as to help them clarify their:,- business model proposition,- market focus,- financial viability,- European perspective,Interested participants must fill in a request available here (Click here).
Clever Networking team will select the most interesting entrepreneurs according to the following criteria: sector of activity, company (future) size, growth potential.
,Programme
2pm -­ 6pm: Clever Networking ­ a choice of 250 microdiscussions. Participants will describe their personal profile and that of their business. ,6pm -­ 8pm: cocktail, EUROWARDS awards (the leading European competition for dynamic start-ups) and Growth Plus awards (rewarding the 100 strongest-growing European enterprises). ,8pm -­ 10pm: gala dinner
