Seawork'98 - Exhibition and technology transfer forum

Seawork'98, an exhibition, conference and technology transfer forum, will take place in Southampton, United Kingdom, from 16 to 18 June 1998. As part of the event, the technology transfer forum is being organized by the South-East England Innovation Relay Centre (IRC), and Solent Maritime.

This exhibition on commercial maritime business will focus on operational areas such as marine contracting, civil engineering, port development, harbour services and inshore and coastal boat work. Participants in the event will include, among others, vessel owners, wharf operators, marine civil engineers and port and harbour authorities.

The exhibition will consist of new products and technology in the field of commercial maritime business such as:

- Towage, salvage and boat work;
- Harbour craft and pilot boats;
- Diesel engineering and propulsion;
- Dredging and shoreline engineering.
