Minatec 2003 (EN)

The 3rd International Micro and Nanotechnology Meeting, MINATEC 2003, will be held in Grenoble from 22 to 26 September 2003 at the Alpes Congres conference centre.

Minatec 2003 will enable key players in research and industry from all over Europe to meet, playing host for a week to more than 150 speakers and 700 congress-goers at one of the world's major advanced microelectronics centres.
The plenary conference will focus on three main topics: microtechnologies for biology and medicine, research dedicated to nanoelectronics, materials and nanophotonics, and lastly embedded microsystems.
It will be accompanied by six events, seminars and specialist workshops, by 250 square metres of exhibition space specially for industry and an area set aside for poster presentations.
Congress-goers will also be able to take part in one-to-one meetings (more than 200 scheduled) and visit internationally reputed sites of scientific, technological and industrial interest such as STMicroelectronics - Crolles II, Sofradir - Ulis, Soitec, and CEA Leti Minatec.
,The MINATEC 2003 meeting is jointly organized by CEA Grenoble, within the framework of the Minatec Innovation Centre, the Grenoble-Isere Economic Development Agency (AEPI) and Grenoble's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIG). It is supported by numerous public-sector partners - Grenoble City Council, Greater Grenoble Council (Métro), Isère Departmental Council, Rhône-Alpes Region, the French Ministry of Research, the European Commission and France's Defence Procurement Agency (DGA).
