Information Day on Priority 7 "Citizens and Governance in a knowledge base society" of FP6

The main goal of this information day is to inform to all the interested participants on the development of the research on socio-economics aspects in FP6 focusing in Priority 7, though other research areas such as Science & Society and supporting research activities on the economic potential and cohesion of the EU will also be addressed.
The preliminary results of the first set of FP6 calls in these areas will be presented with a view to help to prepare good proposals for future calls. Information on the Spanish and European Supporting structures will be given.
The last part of the event is devoted to present experiences of researches working in FP5 programmes on Improving Human Research Potential and The Socio-Economic Knowledge Base and preparing proposals for FP6. A debate between participants presenting proposals ideas, partner search, etc.. will also be organised.
The Information Day on Priority 7 is organised by the University of Granada with participation of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Spain.
