CONTRACTS AND FINANCE IN FRAMEWORK SIX - Thursday 27 November 2003
The European Commissions Framework Programme Six significantly increases the powers of the research consortium, and with it their responsibilities. Combined with the ECs new Financial Regulations, it presents fresh challenges for the legal, financial and administrative staff from companies, universities and research institutes involved in EC research. This workshop explains the main terms of the European Commissions contracts for Framework Six, including its financial provisions. It describes the implications for research management and administration, including the requirements for consortium agreements.
The workshop consists of lectures, practical exercises and feedback sessions. It will be limited to 25 participants, to allow high levels of interaction and plenty of time for questions.
