Event "Boosting Innvoation from Research to Market" on 10.12.03 in Brussels

The Swiss Mission to the EU, the Mission of Norway to the EU, the Stockholm Region Office and the State of California have formed a Partnership called "Partners 4 Innovation". P4I is contributing to the European Innovation Area by sharing the experiences of our constituencies in innovation policy with European policy makers in Brussels. To better demonstrate our commitment to innovation, we are organizing a Workshop Event titled "Boosting Innovation from Research to Market". It will be held on 10 December 2003, the same day as the Nobel Prize ceremonies in Stockholm.
The event will be a showcase of successful innovation policies and an opportunity to share experiences from lessons learned. The European Institutions will be strongly involved in this project and will be represented with high level speakers.
In the first part of the event high level representatives from the partners will outline their perspectives and contributions to stimulate innovation on different levels, National, Regional, European and Transatlantic.
The second part, the Brussels Nobel lunch, is a tribute to excellence in Research.
The third part will be three parallel sessions, each with the purpose to demonstrate the different approaches and to promote innovation: ,i) A company approach to innovation ,ii) Regions and Innovation ,iii) Innovation for a sustainable hydrogen economy.
