Creating business growth - showcasing incubation in the South West

It's not just Cambridge, Manchester and Oxford that have a wealth of innovative start-ups and early stage businesses; the South West has started a silent revolution...

23 February 2004
United Kingdom
Through the excellent incubation environments and the research-based Universities, a large number of exciting, high-growth early stage businesses are flourishing. 'Creating Business Growth; Showcasing Incubation in the South West' will highlight the wealth of talent in the region.
This event will feature exhibitions from incubators in the South West, their tenants and key stakeholders. Running alongside interactive workshops focusing on the key issues faced by high-growth early stage companies, the BISW Investor Readiness Competition will provide those companies, that can show the greatest potential, with the opportunity to pitch their ideas and plans to investors and potential clients in one forum.
The event will attract over 150 high profile delegates from the South West, West Midlands, Wales and London. Delegates will be drawn from incubators, SMEs, RDAs, business support agencies, universities, the finance community, corporates and local and national government officials.
This showcase event promises to provide plenty of networking, business development and learning opportunties for entrepreneurs, incubation practitioners and incubation stakeholders.
