A one day workshop on the processes in building an effective strategy for on-going FP6 participation, in the light of the first FP6 call results, will be held in Cambridge on 25 March 2004.
Targeted at university, research organisation and company participants, the FP6 strategy workshop explores key factors on assessing the level of your FP6 participation to address the goals of your research department/ organisation as well as meeting the Commission objectives., ,Lessons will be drawn from the FP6 first call results using case study examples. Scoping a project and the realistic assessment of the risk of preparing a major FP6 proposal, together with measures to mitigate this risk, will be explored. The workshop will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of coordinating or non-lead participation and the methods of identifying promising proposals under development across Europe., ,The workshop will be held by Walker Associates in collaboration with Berkley Associates.
