Quality Management in Nuclear Analytical Techniques
This practice-oriented training course provides the necessary basic knowledge, shows frequent sources of errors and faults in sample preparation and measuring procedures, and presents possible solutions.
Topics of the training course are,- Quality Management in a Radiochemical Laboratory,- Traceability and Standardisation ,- External Quality Control (Intercomparison, Proficiency Test),- Internal Quality Control (Control Charts, Training Programmes),- Uncertainty Budget in Liquid Scintillation,- Quality Management in Gamma-Spectrometry,- Novel Methods for Density and Sum Correction,- Estimation of Uncertainties in analysis /Recommendations of EURACHEM, IAEA),- Uncertainties in Strontium analysis,- Uncertainty Calculation in Alpha-Spectrometry,- Determination of Characteristic Values (LLD etc.) Selected Examples (DIN 25482, ISO 11929),- Quality Assurance by Accreditation,- Visit to the European Institute for Transuranium Elements as an Accredited Laboratory
