Technology for Life Sciences and Healthcare Takes Center Stage Next Week at Bio-IT World Conference + Expo and Health-IT World Conference + Expo,Co-located events will offer in-depth education and a first look at the latest technology solutions

> Automsoft will introduce RAPID 3.0 the latest version of the company's advanced database software that collects, stores and reports on data sourced from multiple batch execution systems. RAPID 3.0 integrates real-time batch information with other data from the enterprise to help deliver more efficient and consistent batches.
> BioDiscovery, Inc. will showcase GeneDirector® 2.6 the latest version of its enterprise microarray data management platform for spotted arrays and Affymetrix® arrays. GeneDirector 2.6 features a flexible design easily adaptable to any lab workflow along with integration with Affymetrix GeneChip Operation System (GCOS) version 1.1 security change propagation and ownership transfer, and a standardized data cleansing process.
> First Consulting Group will introduce FirstDoc Clinical Trials, a content management software product offering life sciences enterprises a flexible single foundation from which to manage clinical information, documentation and workflow. FirstDoc Clinical Trials allows clinical managers to make real-time decisions about trials, enabling clinical departments to contribute to regulatory submissions in a fraction of the time previously required.
> LION bioscience Inc. will showcase the SRS Gateway for Oracle, which allows scientists to take advantage of the data integration capabilities of the SRS platform from the Oracle SQL environment. Developed jointly by LION and Oracle, the SRS Gateway for Oracle gives Oracle users access to more than 950 public databanks in SRS and other internal data that have been integrated into SRS.
> MiraiBio will launch DNASIS® MAX Version 2.5 Sequence Analysis Software, the company's next generation desktop bioinformatics tool that offers advanced data management and analysis capabilities. DNASIS® MAX delivers industry standard functionality and unique features that enhance common task performance and allow user-defined product customization.
> Paracel will announce version 2.0 of AGENTTM, Paracel's Automated GENotyping Tool, which accelerates and streamlines the genotyping and mutation discovery process by incorporating technology that accurately handles the intricacies of trace file datasets. Intended for use in research labs, the software incorporates algorithms that take into account the challenges of these datasets to produce more accurate results.
> The EMMES Corporation will showcase GlobalTraceSM, a secure web-based specimen inventory and shipping system that tracks study materials in real-time. The company will also showcase the Protocol Monitor Module, which allows project monitors to perform online data audits in the EMMES AdvantageEDCSM production system, using web-based electronic data capture, management and reporting.
> Vivisimo will announce ClusterMed, a powerful information retrieval tool that organizes the high volume of information in PubMed, the U.S. government's MedLine database. ClusterMed organizes PubMed results into meaningful categories without requiring any pre-processing, to achieve breakthrough improvement in search productivity and efficiency.
