Technology Transfer opportunities during the Athens Olympic Games within the framework of the Athens Business Club 2004 (ABC 2004) initiative

13 August 2004 - 29 August 2004
Greece
The Innovation Relay Centre (IRC) HELP-FORWARD / DIKTYO PRAXI, a partnership of the Federation of Greek Industries (FGI), the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (FING) and the Foundation for Research & Technology - Hellas (FORTH), is proud to be part of the Athens Business Club 2004 initiative and contribute to the fostering of the technological cooperation between Greek and foreign companies during the 2004 Olympic Games.
As a member of the IRC Network, the leading European network for the promotion of transnational technology partnerships, HELP FORWARD proposes to share the ABC 2004 benefits with the Network and its clients all over Europe and strengthen the Transnational Technology Transfer (TTT) dimension of the Club.
This is done by introducing the Technology Transfer (TT) event concept, a successful working method of the IRC network, which consists of transnational bilateral pre-arranged meetings, at a specific venue, on the basis of information provided by the interested parties. Using the IRC network extensive knowledge of the technological and economic profile of the companies and regions it serves and the venue provided by the ABC 2004, HELP-FORWARD invites those who would like to explore new business opportunities during their visit to Athens for the Olympic Games, to an Open 16-day Technology Transfer (TT) Event.
Fifteen members of the IRC network (IRC Brussels, IRC Bulgaria, IRC CENEO - Aragon, Castilla La-Mancha, Navarra, Extremadura y la Rioja, IRC East of England, IRC Flanders, IRC Israel, IRC Lower Saxony/Saxony-Anhalt, IRC Northern England and Nord Manche, IRC Northern Ireland, IRC Romania, IRC Slovakia, IRC South Germany/Deutsch Schweiz, IRC Western and Southern Sweden, IRC North Rhine, Westphalia/Malta, IRC Rhone-Alpes) are already promoting the event among their clients and HELP-FORWARD will be the host who will manage and match the technological and business profiles and prepare the meetings, according to selections, during the 16 days of the Games.
Providing its services in Greece since 1991 and active member of the European IRC Network since 1995 (awarded the highest distinction in the network, Best IRC for 2002) HELP-FORWARD welcomes all those who would feel like talking business and technology in a unique venue.
