Sixth Framework Programme: Launch of Call for Proposals to TP1

The Department of Trade and Industry and Medical Research Council are co-hosting an event in London to launch the new call in the UK. At this event, you will hear views from UK industry and experienced Framework evaluators and practioners, including scientists who have already won FP6 funding. Discussion will focus on the opportunities in the new workprogramme, what makes a good proposal, lessons learned from previous call, partner searching, and how Small and Medium sized Enterprises can participate. The event will also focus on other areas of interest to bioscientists such as the cross-cutting New and Emerging Science and Technology programme and Marie Curie Fellowships. After the main event there will be an informal reception which will provide delegates with an opportunity to start building consortia and to meet FP6UK National Contact Points, UK Government Officials and high-level representatives from industry and academia.
