13th EBN Congress: "Industry leaders and small business: leading the way together" Malaga, 17-18 June 2004
Corporates are looking at all options from downsizing and outsourcing to new business models, such as external networking, for R&D. A clear opportunity is emerging to explore and improve models of partnership and co-operation between corporate leaders and clusters of innovative small businesses. This challenge is being taken up in the 13th Annual EBN Congress where the different forms of win-win partnership will be systematically explored.
Industrial spin-off, technology transfer and licensing of internal patents, R&D outsourcing, clever clustering, corporate venturing, joint venturing, corporate incubation, collaborative business development these are some of the strategies to be developed and discussed in the workshops and roundtables of the Congress.
