Shared experiences and expert input on collaboration in EU framework programmes

The Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) organises a conference on July 9th 2004 in Amsterdam on Research-Industry cooperation in EU RTD programmes. EARTO, EICTA, PROTON and UNITE are the participating organizations. The goal is to analyse lessons learned in the previous framework programmes before looking at future framework programme.,

There will be three main themes of debate: governance, financial systems and intellectual property. Expert input is needed in all these areas from universities, industry and research and technology organisations. The conference will be held in practical workshops.
The outcome of this conference aims to provide policy makers of the Commission and the Ministries of Science and Economic Affairs of the member states with fruitful insight in the experiences gained by universities, industry and research and technology organisations in their collaboration in EU framework programmes.
This event is part of a series of events organised during the Netherlands´ EU-presidency under the theme ´European Knowledge Society´ and has been realised with the support of the Netherlands´ Ministry of Education, Culture and Science´.
