EuroScience Open Forum
The programme will host approximately 300 scientific speakers from all over the world and the topics will range from discussions on the demographic problems of Europe to new discoveries in brain research and ondontology. The speakers are international leaders in their fields, and include Professor André Berger, of the Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics at the Catholic University of Louvain, Catherine Bréchignac, Research Director at CNRS and President of the Institut dOptique, André Sapir, advisor to the European Commission and author of "An Agenda for Growing Europe" and Dr Tim Hunt, Principal Scientist at Cancer Research UK. They are joined by government ministers from around the world, representatives of international organizations, leading journalists and other major opinion formers.
