This EU FP6 Proposal Workshop is intended to provide an overview of the EU application process and valuable tips to help improve your chance of a successful application.

Linda Polik, European Advisor at Oxford University, will be presenting a session entitled 'Proposal writing for success'.
Topics covered include: ,· Where to find EU calls,· Influence of the nation member states on EU calls and strategies,· Overview of eligibility requirements,· Successful proposal writing,· Contract negotiation,· Intellectual Property issues,· Consortium agreements, ,· Successful management structures,· Finding partners and forming consortia,· The evaluation criteria and procedure,· How evaluations work in practice,· How evaluators are chosen,· Views from a successful FP6 applicant.
A surgery session will be held in the afternoon to provide an opportunity for individuals or members of project consortia to book ,half-hour appointments with the team of experts to discuss the details of their proposals.
