International Business Exchange Forum Renewable Energy

The German market for renewable energy is booming and experts, entrepreneurs and researchers from all over the world are looking to transfer this potential to their own countries.

16 August 2004 - 25 October 2004
Germany
German companies are increasing their export activities and opening new trade channels. The international know-how exchange and the search for international partners play a central role for all interested parties in the future market of renewable energy.
The two-day International Business Exchange Forum Renewable Energy (IBEF), taking place on Thursday, 21.10. and Friday, 22.10.2004 at the Fairground Augsburg (near Munich), will offer participants the opportunity to meet potential business partners and to gather information on the German and international markets at the same time.
The target groups are national and international companies, agencies, ministries, associations, R&D organisations, consultants and other profit and non-profit organisations looking for business partners for marketing and sales activities, joint ventures, project and product development, licensing, investment and financing.
The focus of IBEF is on business co-operation meetings between German and international participants. The IBEF Business Matching Service will optimise the organisation of the co-operation forum. It will enable the participants to choose future business partners and to plan one-to-one meetings with them in advance.
Taking place at the same time, a two-day seminar will provide an overview on the opportunities and potentials of several renewable energy sources such as the sun, wind and biomass in different countries.
IBEF will take place within the framework of the two international trade fairs and conferences "RENEXPO® 2004" and "IHE WoodEnergy 2004", which will run from 21.10 to 24.10.2004 also at the Fairground Augsburg. Several international delegations, e.g. from Australia, Bulgaria, Austria, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, have already shown interest in attending the trade fairs.
In addition, field trips to innovative projects and pilot demonstration plants on the topics of e.g. biogas, biomass and hydropower in the Augsburg-Munich area will be organised.
Over 150 participants from all over the world are expected to attend IBEF
