Energy & Environment International training course on EC project development

The three-day program is designed to give an introduction to Energy and Environmental related programs of the European Commission, taking participants deep into the practical issues of project development. A self-contained solution for the business sector. This event will take place 20-22 September 2004.

Autumn is the most important period for those who would like to submit energy and environment related project proposals. This training program is not only designed to give an introduction to Energy and Environmental programs of the European Commission, but taking participants deep into the practical issues of project development, focusing on programs and calls listed below.
FP6 Research and Technological Development Framework Programme:,Call for proposals for indirect RTD actions under the specific programme for research, technological development and demonstration: 'Integrating and strengthening the European Research Area' Activity area(s): Sustainable development, global change and ecosystems,Closing Date(s): 26 October 2004, 15 March 2005,....and many others in FP6 Programme.
Intelligent Energy for Europe Framework Programme:,The Call for proposal 2004 is expected to be launched in autumn 2004.
LIFE Programme:,Call for proposals in LIFE-Environment, LIFE-Nature, LIFE-Third Countries.,Deadline: End of October and November 2004.
The three-day international training course provides an overview of EU funding opportunities in the field of energy and environment related EU programs. By the end of the third day, participants will have the knowledge about the entire procedure of proposal preparation as well as the management of successful EU funded projects.
STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE:,Day 1. - Overview,Classification and structure of present and future funding opportunities open for organisations in Europe. Introduction and classification of the most relevant Community Programs that provide funding for energy,and environmental projects. Useful Information Sources about EC funding opportunities on the Internet.
Day 2. - Practical advice for Proposal Developers,Administrative and financial conditions of participating in the Community Programmes From the original idea till the signature of the contract:,· Presentation of funded/successful projects - Why were they accepted?,· Practical guidance to prepare competitive proposals,· Interactive project develoment - filling the administrative forms (Part A), overview of Part B (technical part),· Evaluation of proposals - Experiences of a Brussels evaluator expert, useful tips, practical assistance and guidance,· The conract signing procedure and the implementation of,projects,Day 3. - Interactive workshop and discussions Workshop - Developing your own project proposal III: finalising your project proposal.,
