CORDIS presentation in Spain

Pymera, the Spanish Network for the Promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) is organising a training course on how to make the most from CORDIS in Madrid on 27 September 2004.

27 September 2004 - 27 September 2004
Spain
The workshop will follow the information day on SME participation in FP6, which takes place on the same day in the morning. It is organised by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), acting as the national contact point (NCP) for Spanish SMEs.
Both events will take place in the premises of CDTI. They both aim to provide practical advice to small and big companies, research centres, specialists in industry-research collaboration, regional and local development agencies, technology organisations and any other innovation stakeholders interested in the specific measures for SME participation in FP6. The morning session will draw on the experience of Spanish and German SMEs and NCPs. German Valcarel from the SME Unit of DG Research will speak about the forthcoming calls for proposals for SMEs, to be published in October 2004 and February 2005.
Participants in the CORDIS training will have the opportunity to gain insight into CORDIS interactive services, the latest developments of the service and the benefits from using CORDIS in all stages of preparing and managing a project in FP6. They will also see a short film about CORDIS - Conducting the Instruments of Innovation.
Registration for the CORDIS workshop is by e-mail: pymera@pymera.es
Preliminary questions are also welcome.
