GOOD PRACTICE IN BUSINESS INCUBATION - APPLYING THE THEORY

The UK Business Incubation event will take place on 5 October 2004 in Birmingham, UK.

5 October 2004 - 5 October 2004
United Kingdom
UKBI has good practice guidelines, which provide an outline for delivering true incubation. These guidelines are not rigid as there is no one size fits all method. For that reason, this workshop offers the opportunity to hear from 2 incubators about their own implementation of good practice and methods to best suit their clients needs. Different incubators have been selected to offer different models and a more diverse insight into tailoring good practice to meet individual needs. ,Topics to be covered:
· Good practice guidelines; an overview
· Aspects of good practice, a comparison of 2 incubators
· Building on the foundations
· Turning good practice theory in practice
In addition to the case study comparison of these 2 incubators, the aim of the workshop is to leave delegates with a clear action plan of what the next steps are in the incubation process.
The maximum number of delegates for this workshop will be 25 and sessions will be designed to encourage as much audience participation as possible, via discussions and open debate sessions.
Places are limited and are offered on a first come, first served basis.
