Workshop: Negotiating FP6 Research Contracts

Singleimage Limited will be running a workshop on "Negotiating FP6 Research Contracts" on 23 November 2004 in Cambridge, UK.

23 November 2004 - 23 November 2004
United Kingdom
The aim of this workshop is to provide an overview of the negotiation process: what to expect, how to prepare, and how to survive. It explains who is involved in the process, what the (few) options are, what the Commission requires, and the parallel negotiation amongst the partners on how the project will be managed.
The workshop is aimed at those participating in EC research contract negotiations for the first time. They can be working for the coordinating organisation or for the core team of partners who are meeting in Brussels or Luxembourg to negotiate the contract with the Commission. They can be research managers responsible for the project or European liaison officers managing the negotiation.
Workshop participants should have read the EC model contract and be familiar with the Commission's cost models. For in-depth discussion of Finance in FP6, or Contracts and Consortium Agreements, please see details of the corresponding workshop at www.singleimage.co.uk/workshops/schedule.html.
