1st German Vegetable Oil Energy Forum at the "CLEAN ENERGY POWER? 2005", ICC Berlin

The "1st German Vegetable Oil Energy Forum" will take place on Thursday, January 27, 2005, in the International Congress Center (ICC) in Berlin.

26 January 2005 - 27 January 2005

The forum appeals to producers, industry, and end-users who want to get down to business with the replacement of fossil fuels. Experts from both politics and research and development, as well as the driving instructor who is fill-ing up with salad oil, will meet in Berlin.
For hundreds of years, agriculture and forestry distributors have been and still are the people with renewable energy products. Even today, it is the homeland farmers who are offering inexpensive alternatives that make the race to the last oil spring unnecessary: vegetable oil., ,It sounds so simple the way it works: from oil plants such rapeseed or lin-seed, pure vegetable oil is extracted, which is then used as fuel for cars, buses, or tractors. Conventional motors must simply be restructured for the thicker flowing vegetable oil. Additionally, heat and electricity can be pro-duced from vegetable oil in combined heat and power plants.
But vegetable oil offers consumers much more than simply a source of fuel. In the face of climbing mineral oil prices, it is an effective alternative that de-livers up to 40% savings in comparison to diesel. But, the most critical ad-vantage is that with vegetable oil, one drives climate neutral: the plants had already taken the same amount of CO2 out of the atmosphere as is pro-duced via the combustion.
The forum will bring together agri-culture as well as vegetable oil producers and operators and takes place within the "CLEAN ENERGY POWER® 2005" (CEP) international exhibition and congress for regenerative energies and energy-efficient building. The event offers an overview of energy-efficiency in the building sector, biogas, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, geother-mal energy, and wood energy, as well as several international export and financing forums, from January 26-27, 2005, in the ICC in Berlin.
Visitors from more than 30 countries are expected, from which 800 will participate in the conference., ,Further information can be found at energien Kommunikations- und Informationsservice GmbH,Miriam Hegner,Unter den Linden 15, D-72762 Reutlingen,Tel. +49-71 21-30 16 - 0,Fax +49-71 21-30 16 - 100,,
