MEDIA INVITATION: The first European Vascular Genomics Network conference Media briefing

On Monday 13 December at 12:00 noon, at the New Hall College in Cambridge (UK), the European Vascular Genomics Network (EVGN) organizes a media briefing in occasion of the The first European Vascular Genomics Network Conference. New state-of-the-art research results will be presented.

The media briefing, which will be held on the opening day of the EVGN conference (13-16 December) will highlight the research accomplishments of EVGN first year and its most recent and forthcoming scientific results. New state-of-the-art research results will be presented on: clinical perspectives in endothelial dysfunction; atherosclerotic plaque destabilization mechanisms and therapy; use of stem cells to treat coronary heart disease; vaccination against atherosclerosis; postgenomics approaches to cardiovascular disease.
Press representatives are invited to the media briefing. Participants will be available for interviews at the conference or via telephone.

EVGN,The first annual EVGN Conference will mark the first year of the entry into force of the EVGN, the first ever European Union funded Network of Excellence in the field of cardiovascular disease, whose aim is promoting multidisciplinary interaction by uniting 25 basic and clinical institutions (encompassing 35 academic groups), 2 biotechnology companies and 1 management company, from 10 EU Member or Associated States.
