FP6 Research Infrastructures Information Day

An information day on "FP6 Research Infrastructures" will be delivered on 26 January 2005 in London (UK) by the National Contact Point and the UK Research Office.

26 January 2005 - 26 January 2005

There are two calls in research infrastructures closing in early 2005, for Research Infrastructures (networking, access and accompanying measures) and e-Infrastructures (engagement, policy and international collaboration). The Commission is also beginning its consultation on FP7.
The aim of the day is to inform the research community of the opportunities this programme offers them, and the ways it may develop in the future. We are particularly interested in talking to communities who have not previously made use of these actions. The definition of research infrastructure is broad, and in e-Infrastructures one aim of this call is to increase the engagement of new research sectors with the e-Infrastructure programme.
This event will be of interest to research facility managers and European liaison officers in institutions with major research facilities. There will be opportunities for individual appointments to discuss possible proposals after lunch.
If you are interested in attending, please do submit a registration form as soon as possible. UKRO will contact you nearer the date with a confirmed agenda and further details on venue
