Participation of Western Balkan Countries in EU RTD-Framework Programmes

The workshop will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 3 February 2005, and its main goal is to review the performance of Western Balkan countries in the Fifth and Sixth Framework programmes (FP5 and FP6).
Further topics will be discussed:
-Evaluation of existing forms of integration of researchers from Western Balkan countries into EU-RTD FrameworkProgrammes.
- Development of proposals for improved instruments for integration of Western Balkan countries into Framework Programme 7.
- Presentation of a small number of in-depth elaborated proposals regarding instruments for efficient integration of Western Balkan countries into FP7 and discussion with representatives of European Commission and some key S&T policy makers from Western Balkan countries and EU Member States
The workshop is aimed at:
