European Research & Innovation Exhibition

The European Research & Innovation Exhibition will be taking place from 3 to 5 June 2005 at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in Paris, under the patronage of French president, Jacques Chirac, with backing from Janez Potocnik, Member of the European Commission, responsible for Research, the French Research Ministry, and the French Senate.

This international exhibition addresses the general public and is broken down into four main areas: Europe (community institution and European research programmes, with many European stands); Regional Development, Innovation & Research Applications (startup for innovative companies, business incubators, finance, technology parks, local authorities); Research & Education (universities and public research organizations); and Research & Enterprise (major international groups and private laboratories)., ,The scientific committee chaired by Professor Jean Audouze has scheduled an exceptional programme of conferences and workshops, addressing a very broad audience on the achievements and ambitions of research and innovation, and the fundamental implications for the future of the European Community. In addition, a number of spectacular special features will be running throughout the event. Very substantial attendance is expected, of around 25,000 visitors from all walks of life.
