International Symposium "Moving Towards Zero Emission Plants"
In the framework of the "TDT-3R Multi Fuel" project, co-financed by the European Commission, the Institute for Solid Fuels Technology and Applications organises the International Symposium "Moving Towards Zero Emission Plants" on June 20th 22nd 2005, in Leptokarya Pieria, Greece.,Its main objectives are:,- To link all active researchers in the field of emission reduction technologies in energy production,- To communicate ideas of engineers and other specialists engaged in research and development of the technologies and the equipment used in related processes,- To compare scientific results obtained in different countries and institutions,- To review the state-of-the-art emission reduction technologies, as well as corresponding technical achievements,- To inform scientists about the most recent fundamental and applied research results and developments through the keynote lectures of distinguished experts from different countries,- To enhance cooperation among research institutions and the industry,- To promote the implementation of emission reduction technologies in energy production, while aiming to efficiently utilise natural resources and to comply with international conventions
