Enterprising WOMEN in European Research- WOMEN enterprises and European Commission's funding opportunities in FP6

The one day conference, at the Ripetta conference center, features women entrepreneurs, institutions and experts on opportunities offered by the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Commission to women entrepreneurs that have a need for funding in research and development.
The conference features an introductory morning session in which a general overview of funding schemes and opportunities will be outlined by representatives of the European Commission, partners of the WomEn2FP6 project, as well as associations that illustrate experiences in the single European contexts by Women entrepreneurs.
The afternoon is dedicated instead to an operative session in which European women entrepreneurs share their experiences in working in and with European research projects, outlining benefits and criticalities they have encountered.
The conference is backed by the WomEn2FP6 consortium that comprehends associations and institutions linked to women entrepreneurship in 10 European countries (UK, Germany, Ireland, France, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Spain and Sweden) and has thus a truly European outreach in informing, counselling and assisting women entrepreneurs in selecting the most suitable solutions among the funding opportunities available.
The conference represents an occasion to be guided by experts in the most suitable solutions for R&D ideas to be carried out in an international context, benefiting from funding as well as synergies in cooperating with international partners.
