EUA supports EURAB call to secure FP7 budget

EUA has called on its collective members, the National Rectors' Conferences, to put pressure on their national governments to ensure that the proposal to double the current research budget, a measure strongly supported by EUA and the research community, is not undermined by member states' unwillingness to increase their contributions to the EU budget. The ambitions goals of the Lisbon Strategy cannot be achieved without substantially enhanced investment in European research and technological development.
