European Innovation Day: A celebration of European Intellectual Property and Creativity

High level speakers include major actors from the business and policy areas such as Pat Cox (Former President of the European Parliament), Paul Rübig (Member of the European Parliament) and Rudy Provoost (CEO of Philips Consumer Electronics).
A high level panel discussion including experts from a wide range of fields (intellectual property, technology, economics, law etc.) will provide their views on the ongoing discussion on the patentability of computer-implemented inventions (CII).
A showcase organised by key innovators such as Alcatel, Daimler Chrysler, Ericsson, Nokia, Philips and Siemens will provide participants with the opportunity to see the range of technical innovations relying on CII.
