TII Summer School - 5-day skills development course for the Technology Transfer and Innovation Support professions

The 2005 edition of the TII summer school will take place from 12 to 16 September in Bologna, Italy, hosted by the Universita di Bologna. Early-bird rates are offered until 16 August and special rates are available for organisations based in the CEEC.

The 2005 programme features an attractive selection of 5 one-day workshops, which can be attended as a week's course or "à la carte". Each topic covers one of the disciplines or skills that innovation support and technology transfer professionals require to develop in the course of their everyday work assignments. They are:
- Creative Neogiation Technique - the problem-solving approach,- Analysing the Early Development of High-Tech Start-ups,- Assessing the Commercial Potential of Early-Stage Technologies,- Building Success in International Project Management,- Creating Value from Multi-Partner Research Collaborations
The training is practical in nature and is delivered by an international group of practitioners with many years of experience in their specialised area. Each workshop contains a good balance of methodology, case studies and group work and the delivery is lively and interactive. The summer school is also an occasion to meet and exchange with colleagues from many different countries and backgrounds and to forge long-term professional relations.
