Law in the Information Society
The purpose of the conference is to define, as far as possible, a uniform framework for the application of computer technologies in a legal context. The conference aims at focusing on how the use of computer technology has not only increased the possibilities for the acquisition of legal knowledge, but has also made an important contribution to the application and interpretation of legal phenomena.
The conference will also reflect on the significance of the use of these technologies and on the lawyer's role in the Information Society. Papers are welcome on the following topics, which will be addressed during the conference:
- Advanced information systems: tools for the organization, classification and retrieval of legal information;
- Interactive and joint methodologies for the production, transmission and dissemination of legal information on the Internet;
- Legal electronic publishing;
- Analysis and drafting of a legal document;
- Legal and administrative models and forms;
- Formalization of legal knowledge;
- Natural language recognition;
- Legal regulation of the Internet;
- Right to information and personal data protection;
- Intellectual property rights and personal data protection;
- Computer tools for legal education;
- The teaching of legal informatics in universities.
