Investigation and development of educational software

The third symposium on the investigation and development of educational software will be held in Alentejo, Portugal, from 3 to 5 September 1998. The aim of the symposium is to provide an opportunity to improve understanding and to encourage the exchange of experiences between people who have a commitment to educational software development and use.

The conference organizers are currently inviting papers on any of the broad thematic areas to be covered during the event:

- Conception and development of educational software;
- Educational software evaluation and interfaces;
- Teacher training on information and communication technologies in education;
- Using computer networks in educational contexts;
- Educational support for use of the World Wide Web;
- Educational software for special needs.
